Christmas Gift Tags & Box

I created these tags and coordinating box for a Shoe Box Swap I participated in this past weekend at an awesome retreat.  Please enjoy and let me know if you have any questions.

    

Gift Tags

Supplies used:

·        4 pcs Very Vanilla Card stock measuring 4 3/8″ x 2″

·        4 pcs Very Vanilla Card stock measuring 3 7/8″ x 2″

·        Scrap pcs of Very Vanilla Card stock

·        Scrap pcs of Garden Green Card stock

·        Scrap pcs of Real Red Card stock

·        Delightful Tag Topper punch or Scalloped Tag Topper Punch

·        2” Circle Punch

·        Starburst Punch

·        Detailed Trio Punch

·        Toile Tidings DSP 4 pcs ¾” x 2”

·        Garden Green Ink

·        Real Red Ink

·        Memento Tuxedo Black Ink

·        4 pcs - 6” lengths of Gold/Vanilla Metallic Edge Ribbon looped through the top of each tag

·        Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels

·        Snowfall Accents Puff Paint

·        Stampin’ Blends – various colors

·        Stampin’ Dimensional

·        Multipurpose Liquid Glue

 Tag Assembly Steps:

1.      Use Tag Topper Punch of choice for the top of each tag. 

2.      Round the bottom corners of each tag using the Detailed Trio Punch or other corner rounder

3.      Stamp Image and Punch out of scrap Very Vanilla using 2” circle punch

·        Images used in this tag set come from Snowman Season, #Elfie and Perfectly Plaid

Snowman & #Elfie images were colored with Stampin’ Blends

§  Snowman:  Dark Pumpkin Pie, Light Smokey Slate & Light Pool Party

§  #Elfie:  Dark Call Me Clover, Dark Daffodil Light or Light Soft Suede (hair); Cherry Cobbler Light & Dark Combo & Ivory

§  Embellish with gems, Puff paint etc

4.      On shorter tag (2” x 3 7/8”), adhere ¾” x 2” DSP near the bottom of the tag using liquid glue

5.      Layer 2” punch onto Garden Green or Real Red Starburst Punch with Liquid Glue and then pop up onto shorter tag using 2 Stampin’ Dimensionals

6.      On longer tag (2” x 4 3/8”), Stamp, with coordinating ink, the To/From in the upper section of the tag and stamp Sentiment at bottom of tag so that it is visible when shorter tag is placed on top.

You can use any sentiment you like as long as it fits within the 2” width of the tag

o   Christmas Cheer & Happy Holidays come from Itty Bitty Christmas

o   Ho Ho Ho comes from Perfectly Plaid

o   To/From Stamp comes from Snowman Season

7.      Stack the shorter tag on top of longer tag and loop ribbon through hole

·        Fold ribbon in half and push folded end through from front of hole.  Feed ends through loop and pull up.

Gift Tag Box

Supplies used:

·        1 pc Garden Green Card stock measuring 2” x 8 ½”, scored at 4-1/4 & 5-1/4

·        2 pcs Garden Green Card stock measuring 2″x 2”, scored at 1/2″ and 1-1/2″

·        A Star Designer Element

·        1 pc  - 3” length of Gold/Vanilla Metallic Edge Ribbon

·        Scrap of Very Vanilla Card stock

·        Real Red Ink

·        Pine Tree Punch

·        Classic Label Punch

·        Delightful Tag Topper punch or Scalloped Tag Topper Punch

·        Mini Glue Dots

·        Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Box Assembly Steps:

1.      Fold and Burnish folds on all 3 pieces.

2.      Punch both ends of long piece with preferred tag topper

3.      Attach 2 x 2” pcs to form the box on each side using liquid glue.  Be sure to line edges up.

4.      Using Pine Tree punch, punch out tree shape from DSP and adhere to box front with liquid glue

5.      Stamp sentiment using Real Red Ink on scrap of Very Vanilla Card stock

6.      Trim sentiment using the Classic Label Punch

7.      Adhere to box front on an angle using 3 mini Stampin’ Dimensionals

8.      Adhere the Star Designer Element
