Mini Curvy Keepsake Mummy Treat Box

Today's post is the second in the series of 4 Mini Curvy Keepsake Treat boxes I have for you and features the Mummy.  You can get a head start on Halloween.  This is a super easy project and I think it turned out really cute. I filled the box with 5 Hersey Kisses, but you could fill it with a variety of small candies or gifts.  The box is roughly 1 ¾” square when assembled.

If you'd like to make this project and need any supplies, just click on any of the supply item pictures below and it will take you to my online store. The die set used in this project won't be available until next Wednesday, September 4th.  If you don't already have a demonstrator and need a Holiday catalog, let me know and I'll be happy to send you one. I really appreciate the opportunity to earn your business and thank you for taking time to check out my blog.  If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.  Have a wonderful day!

Mini Curvy Pumpkin Treat Box

Good Morning! It's been a while since I've posted my blog. Please accept my apologies, I've been busy creating inventory in preparation for a number of craft fairs this fall that I will be showing at. My goal is to do better in the future. With the 2019 Holiday Catalog going live on September 4th, I wanted to bring you one of the projects I've been working on - these adorable Mini Curvy Keepsake Treat boxes. I was inspired by a post by another demonstrator named Ruth.  I don't recall which social media app I was looking at or what her last name is. This is not an original design of mine but I took her ideas and altered using what I had to work with.

I'll be posting directions for all 4, however today's post features the Pumpkin - just in time for Fall. This is a super easy project and I think it turned out really cute. I filled the box with 5 Hersey Kisses, but you could fill it with a variety of small candies or gifts.  The box is roughly 1 ¾” square when assembled.  As an alternate, you could make this into an apple – maybe a treat for a Teacher!  If you'd like to make this project and need any supplies, just click the picture below and it will take you to my online store. The die set used in this project won't be available until next Wednesday, September 4th.  If you don't already have a demonstrator and need a catalog, let me know and I'll be happy to send you one. I really appreciate the opportunity to earn your business and thank you for taking time to check out my blog.  If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.  Have a wonderful day!

Supplies/Measurements:
  • Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box Dies
  • Leaf Punch
  • Pumpkin Pie Card Stock - 5 ½” x 5 ½” - for box body
  • Garden Green Card Stock - Scraps – roughly 2” x 2” – for leaves
  • Soft Suede Card Stock -  Scrap 2 pieces @ 5/8" x 1” for stem
  • Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Write Marker (alternate: Light Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blend)

Prep Instructions:

  • Die cut body using the Mini Curvy Keepsake Box dies out of Pumpkin Pie Card Stock
  • Freehand draw wiggly vertical lines on all 4 sections of the box
  • Punch 2 Leaves out of Garden Green Card Stock
  • Snip about a 45 degree angle off one end off each of the 5/8” x 1” Soft Suede Stem pieces.  Make sure both are cut in the same direction.
Assembly Instructions:
  • Glue Soft Suede stems to each of the handles.  (If you are using as a treat box, make sure you don’t glue the together.)
  • Glue 2 Garden Green leaves to the flap closure section that is on top when closed. I glued one on the top side laying flat and the other one to the under side of that same flap and bent it at an angle, so it was nearly vertical. If you are not using as a treat box, you could just glue them to the stem if it you wished.
